Countryside Auto Transport ("Company") began transporting cars in 1989 with 8, 10, and 11 car carriers. We began transporting out of auto auctions and wrecks from salvage yards for dealers, and also transported "snowbirds" to the south and west for the winter months. By 1993, our snowbird clientele had grown so much that we needed to find a way to provide better service for our repeat customers. In 1994, we began to downsize our trucks and trailers to allow us into residential areas and begin servicing our private customers with true door-to-door service. By the end of 1995, we directed our focus completely to privately owned vehicles and moving-van line companies; we continued to phase out the ten and eleven car carriers and replace them with four, five and six car carriers. By 1996, we had eight trucks on the road exclusively hauling privately owned vehicles and even hauling personal vehicles for the Green Bay Packers.
In the early 2000’s we had a large growth spurt, which led us to build an all new state-of-the-art facility, adding five more trucks and more faculty members, further cementing Countryside as a main player in the auto transport industry. Since moving into the new facility the business has continued to grow, adding more and more trucks to the fleet and expanding our business partners. In 2015 another large addition was added to the current facility, preparing for further expansion.
As of 2019, Countryside Auto Transport has built a reputation nationwide with corporate companies, manufacturers, new and used dealerships, professional sports franchises and private customers as being the number one, on time Auto Transport Company in the United States. We take pride in that reputation and thank our employees for helping us reach and maintain that reputation.
